Online encyclopedia Wikipedia lists the year 1908 as the last milestone in their overview on the history of the ICE. But with gas prices at record highs and the economy squeezing average Americans, and with gas-electric hybrids quickly becoming the fastest-selling cars in America, the future of the ICE demands smaller, more efficient engines. Rotoblock believes it has found the answer called the Oscillating Piston Engine (OPE) that we believe has the potential of quadrupling fuel efficiency.

Another opportunity lies in China. The demands on China's developing economy and modernization of the most populous country on Earth is putting an unknown quantity of stress on, not only China's environment, but the world environment.
