Rotoblock Update on Oscillating Piston Engine Status and Company
Developments
|
 |
| SANTA ROSA, Calif., Oct. 4,
2005--Rotoblock Corporation (OTCBB:ROTB - News) announced today
that the OPE (Oscillating Piston Engine) has reached its new
facilities in Santa Rosa, California and the relocation of its
headquarters is complete. |
 |
| The final engineering and testing of
the OPE is underway and Rotoblock's engineering team has
confirmed that the patented OPE has compression. In June,
Rotoblock announced that it expected the OPE was nearly ready
for testing, but with the addition of new management and the
relocation of the Company's headquarters from British Columbia
to California, a decision was made to continue development of
the OPE after the move. |
| |
|
Officials at Rotoblock report that the EOP is scheduled to have
full mechanical operation of the engine by the end of the fourth
quarter of 2005 which will enable Rotoblock to run full
diagnostics testing including emissions and fuel economy. |
 |
While the OPE was originally intended for small engine
applications, according to Rotoblock President Matthias Heinze,
the Company has entered into discussions with several automotive
hybrid manufacturers to set an application goal for Rotoblock's
OPE. As fuel standards in North America become more stringent,
Rotoblock strives to remain ahead of the curve.
|
 |
| Last month, Matthias
Heinze was appointed by the Board of Directors of Rotoblock as
the new President. In addition, Tom Howard was appointed as
Chief Financial Officer. Rotoblock also announced last week that
it had also appointed world famous drive train designed
Professor CC Chan of Hong Kong University to its Board of
Directors. |
 |
| Newly
appointed CFO Thomas Howard has owned and operated the
accounting firm Thomas M. Howard Certified Public Accountant
for the past 13 years. He has been the CEO of a public
company before, has been a CPA for the past 17 years and has
consulted with many public and private companies as CFO for
the past 15 years. |
